Energy Storage-Saving Device for Lifts

HH-ESSDL-C3.3C20-P

  • Energy Storage-Saving Device for Lifts (ESSDL) adopts a three-phase interleaved parallel BUCK-BOOST bidirectional DC/DC converter as its control core, with supercapacitors as the energy storage medium.
  • On-site wiring is simple: just connect the positive and negative terminals of the elevator inverter DC bus to the ESSDL.
When the elevator is in generating mode (light-load ascending or heavy-load descending), the inverter bus voltage rises, and the ESSDL charges to store the generated electricity in supercapacitors.
  • When the elevator is in motoring mode (light-load descending or heavy-load ascending), the inverter bus voltage drops, and the ESSDL discharges to feed the stored energy back to the elevator inverter DC bus.
  • ESSDL is available in two models: internally stacked YH-ESSDL-C4.5C20-D and internally flat-mounted YH-ESSDL-C4.5C20-P. The P-type is more suitable for installation on the shaft wall of machine-room-less elevators.
